Every Child Has a Voice

In Ms. Maldonado’s Infant 1 classroom, students recently participated in a Kagan Structure, Timed Pair Share. This activity gave each child the opportunity to think about a question, share their ideas with a partner, and then listen as their partner shared in return.

It was wonderful to see our young learners confidently expressing their thoughts, using their voices, and learning how to take turns in conversation. Through this simple yet powerful structure, students are building early communication skills, developing confidence, and learning the importance of listening to others.

Ms. Maldonado’s class continues to create a supportive and engaging environment where every child has a voice and every idea matters.
